Meet Reni
As a licensed pediatric speech-language pathologist, Reni Hanley specializes in evaluation and treatment of children who are late talkers or have developmental differences, including autism, Down syndrome, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), and rare disorders causing limited speech and/or feeding and swallowing difficulties.
Reni’s individualized therapy sessions take place in a warm, welcoming, home-like setting. Because families are a welcome and key part of successful outcomes, parents are always invited. She applies her clinical expertise to encourage learning of foundational skills and advanced language, feeding, and speech skills, and her therapy techniques are tailored to meet each child’s and family’s needs.
Throughout her career, Reni has collaborated with occupational, physical, and behavioral therapists as well as psychologists. Outside of her work with patients, Reni has mentored and trained speech therapists during clinical rotations and in early practice. This experience has shaped her integrated approach to therapy that focuses on success beyond the therapy room.
